COVID-19 Policy

We, Montana!
COVID-19 Policy

This policy last updated 10 July 2020.

In these challenging times, every organization has had to make difficult decisions about how to conduct business.  The following policy reflects how the We, Montana! Board of Directors has elected to proceed for the 2020/2021 academic year.

1) In the case of acts of God, accident, riots, war, terrorist act, epidemic, pandemic, quarantine, civil commotion, natural catastrophes, governmental acts or omissions, changes in laws or regulations that would either deter a member from attending class or that would render classes impractical to conduct due to a lack of attendees, a refund will not be issued. It is the intention of the Executive Director to not cancel classes due to the aforementioned causes. A refund will not be issued because the fees currently being charged do not cover our organization’s set costs (i.e. costs that do not cease to exist such as rent).

2) Given the nature of the classes being offered by We, Montana!, the practices of social distancing and face-mask wearing cannot be maintained without disrupting our classes.  We will not allow either practice in the Great Room, therefore. We, Montana! will require that you sign an assumption of risk and waiver.

3) We, Montana! encourages personal responsibility and good hygiene (hand-washing). We will wipe down “high-traffic” areas such as door knobs and light switches, and have hand sanitizer available.
