Warmups

We begin every rehearsal with a good warm-up—not so much because the voice needs to be warmed up much at the end of the day, but because they’re great opportunities to bring to mind certain vocal characteristics, such as vowel sounds and tone qualities.

This one is great for learning one’s way around the scales and arpeggios. Also, it’s a great chance to work on being accurate on all the vowel changes.
