Riu Riu Chiu
On this song, Youth Choir is joining into Freedom Choir’s normal arrangement. It’s a little trickier than singing with Youth Choir alone, as there are some times where Freedom Choir sings, but Youth Choir does not. Generally, Youth Choir sings what the Freedom Choir sopranos sing, but that doesn’t mean that every time the FC sopranos are singing, YC is singing.
The audio below plays the Youth Choir parts using a piano sound, where all the Freedom Choir parts use an “Ah Choir” sound.
Silver Bells
This song will be performed by Youth Choir with piano accompaniment on this song, with a short introduction before Youth Choir sings. I’ve not included that in the audio here, as it will be simple enough for the Choir to come in as directed.
Infant Holy, Infant Lowly
On this song, Youth Choir is accompanied by piano, flute, and electric bass. The recording below has it all, and plays the Youth Choir part using an “Ooh Choir” sound. Note that there are four verses, and the first and third have the choir singing an “Ooh” sound, while the second and third have them singing the lyrics on the song sheets they have.
Christmas, Christmastime
This recording plays the entire performance, and highlights the Youth Choir part with the piano sound.
Singalong Songs
All these songs have piano accompaniment, and will be sung along with Freedom Choir, which is singing in four parts. Youth Choir will sing the Soprano Part, which is doubled by piano in the recordings below.
